it was cool..
no, seriously it was literally cool..
So cold that there were even days when i had on two or three jackets.... i'm glad to be home, i missed the sun a lot

Trip Summary

DAY ONE- AVENUE OF STARS & THE PEAK (VICTORIA PEAK)
walking around... both cold places, very cold. The avenue of stars is in Victoria Harbour and it's like the walk of fame in the US, but this time it features Hong Kong native stars like Jackie Chan, Chow Yun Fat and etc. The peak is on top of a mountain and there's a view and you could even go to the sky terrace which is even higher, it gives you a breathtaking view of HK.

DAY TWO- OCEAN PARK
Another really cold place, since Ocean Park is located on a mountain, they have two lots, one on the bottom and the other one is on top of the mountain, you have to ride a cable car to get to either one. the rides and the animals are cool. The "mine train" roller coaster is scary... it has a lot of twists, turns and drops, and here' the additional thrill: it's located at the side of the mountain. You feel like you're going to get thrown off and what's worse is that you feel like you're going to land in the ocean. My brother and sister rode the 'Abyss' it's one where they take you up 60 ft in the air and suddenly drop you. No way that i'm going to ride that...The panda's are cute... sadly, they were asleep when we got to them...

DAY FOUR- MACAU: WALKING AROUND AND HOTEL HOPPING
yeah... we took the ferry to Macau and we got a hotel (last minute). after resting for a bit, we went to different hotels, we went to see Wynn, Grand Lisboa, MGM Grand and The Venetian. The hotels all had casinos in them, but since i'm a minor, they wouldn't let me in.... it was boring waiting for my brother and sister. My favorite was the Venetian... it's decor is a lot like Venice and it was beautiful. plus, it's so huge that they give you MAPS! XD

DAY FIVE- MACAU: MACAU TOWER
yeah, it's a huge tower where you get to see the View of Macau. there are even parts where the floor is glass. 0_o there's also the outdoor viewing area which is higher. there are also people jumping off the tower, bungy jumping i mean... it's 233 meters of the ground.... rawr.

DAY SIX- HONG KONG DISNEYLAND
Yeah, i'm such a kid. =) HK disneyland was fun and also one of the coldest days we had... it was really cold and it was raining. Still, we still had a lot of fun... Space mountain is cool.. it's a roller coaster that's in the darkness of space, you really don't know where you're going. The Spinning Teacups were also fun. What i really liked were the Characters.. and Mickey's house. XD plus the royal christmas ball of Princess Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) it was really really great, plus her castle is sooo sparkly. The fireworks! they were so ah-mazing! i love them... it was "disney in the stars" and it was so beautiful!!!!

DAY SEVEN- GIANT BUDDHA AND A TEMPLE (THAT I FORGOT THE NAME) AND NEW YEAR'S COUNTDOWN IN VICTORIA HARBOUR (12.31)
my sister said that we go see the giant buddha, so we did.. note: this was the coldest day we experienced. we went to a mountain again, that's where the giant buddha is and it's made out of bronze and it really is huge. The temple is really cool the designs and the details were amazing. We got to Victoria harbour at around 8pm and we waited for four hours for the new year there. Sadly, the fireworks weren't as grand as expected.... we figured that it might be grander by Chinese New Year... nothing beats new year at home, in my opinion, the fireworks and the noise are much more fun at home

Yeah, that's all we did... plus a bit of shopping in between... i finally have my own iPod!!!!! of course, i bought it with my own money XD and my dad bought a new camera and an iPod touch for me and my siblings to share

HK was fun... although, i'm glad to be home, missed the sun too much XD
